Location: Morecambe
Salary: £14 Per hour / £29,120 - £32,760 per annum (Including On-Call)
Hours: 40 hours per week (plus on-call)
We are currently looking for a Team Manager to join Specialist Care Team. As a Team Manager, you will provide leadership and supervision to the care staff within our service, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our service users.
Specialist Care Team operates multiple supported living services across Morecambe and Heysham, ranging from small single-person tenancies, to larger flat schemes and shared accommodations. Our client groups are mainly those with learning disability, Autism and mental health needs, but we also work with those who have older people’s needs or physical disabilities.
You will be working across multiple sites, where you will support the service manager to ensure a safe and effective service is being
delivered by team members.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:
As a Team Manager, you will:
● Ensure that our service users are at the heart of care delivery, and that their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
● Develop effective working relationships with other team members and cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new employees
● Supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service
● Assist individual staff to develop in their role and the level of compliance with agreed standards
● Take the lead responsibility for day-to-day management of support services, in accordance with policies, procedures and management techniques agreed with the Management Team
● Take part in pre-assessments of new service users
Requirements:
To be considered for the role, you should have:
● Good English - written and verbal
● Ideally, a vocational qualification level 3 Health and Social Care and a supervisory or management qualification
You should also possess:

● Communication Skills
● Problem-solving Skills
● Previous experience of working in a similar environment
